The Annual River Baptism will be held on August 24 at 5:30 PM at Green Hill Park. Join us as we celebrate with those who have expressed their faith in Jesus and are being baptized in the river. At this meeting, we will be joined by Dr. Bobby Jessup. Dr. Jessup is a licensed counselor who works for Associates in Brief Therapy. He is going to walk us through how as Life Group leaders, we can journey with someone who is going through a hard time, and how to recognize when professional help is needed. We will also celebrate the launch of new Life Groups at our campuses!

Join us for our next Institute Forum—a free, one-night opportunity to dive deep into rich theological teaching and practical application. These forums, hosted by the Institute at FCC, are designed to equip the church through focused lectures on essential biblical truths.

Our speaker for the evening is Bret Brooks, Elder and Worship Team Vocalist at FCC. Together, we’ll explore a biblical Theology of Worship—not just what we do on Sunday mornings, but the posture of our hearts every day. We'll tackle questions like: What does it mean to live all of life as worship? How is worship more than singing? How do we guard our hearts against worshiping the wrong things? Whether you serve on a worship team, lead a group, or simply want to grow in your walk with Christ, this Forum is for you. Come be challenged, encouraged, and equipped to glorify God in every area of life.

Forums are stand-alone, one-time gatherings that provide an opportunity for the whole church to be trained in an essential area of discipleship.

Kids Life Classes are available for children birth-5th grade with advanced registration.

BUILDING A BETTER MARRIAGE: A MARRIAGE WORKSHOP

Join us for Building a Better Marriage, a morning workshop designed to strengthen, equip, and encourage couples at every stage of their relationship. Whether you're engaged, newly married, or years into your journey, this workshop will help you build a stronger, Christ-centered marriage through biblical teaching, real conversations, and supportive community.
Build a Strong Foundation – Learn how to develop a Christ-centered, gospel-shaped marriage that can thrive through every season of life. Talk About What Matters – Dive into meaningful conversations about communication, finances, sex, family dynamics, and spiritual growth. Engage with Real Issues – Address red flags, personal stories, and expectations in a safe, guided environment. Be Equipped for a Lifetime – Leave with practical tools, wisdom, and a community to support your journey together.
The class will be led by Pastor Ken & Beth Nienke, Andrew & Samantha McPheron, and a team of experienced table hosts who are eager to walk alongside you and share from their own journeys to help you build a lasting and life-giving marriage.
Cost is $10.00 a couple. Childcare and a light breakfast are provided with advanced registration.

CHILDREN’S BAPTISM CLASS

Participants Must Attend Both Classes

This class is designed specifically for children ages 6-12 and will help children and parents understand and answer the following questions. 

• What does it mean to say you are a Christian?

• What is Baptism?

• What is the Lord’s Supper?

• What is the local church and its role in helping people know Christ as their Savior?

• What do I do now that I am a Christian? 

Children, and their parent(s), will have the opportunity to participate in fun, age-appropriate lessons that will initiate engaging conversations with peers and other parents, play games together, and complete daily Bible readings together. 

Registration closes on August 4 at 8 AM.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY EVENT
REFRESH YOUR SPIRIT & SOUL

Join the Women's Ministry on July 30 for a devotional message, hands-on craft, and time of fellowship. We will have the opportunity to hear from a guest speaker with a time of personal spiritual reflection. This is a great way to connect with other women and deepen our faith walk.

The fee will help cover cost of supplies. Women Ministry is providing light refreshments. There will be childcare with registration (birth- 5th).

The event will be for ages 16 and up. Space is limited.
