Meet at FCC Salem at 9 AM. Travel to Smith Mountain Lake Dam for a tour of the Visitor Center and a view of the dam and surrounding area. We will enjoy a picnic lunch (bring your own) at the dam, then travel to Homestead Creamery before returning to FCC. Van transportation is available with a limited number of seats.

FCC will be taking a short-term mission trip to Bradshaw, WV, on October 1-3, 2026. The team will visit families in the community, focusing on meeting spiritual and physical needs. They will also be hosting a community-wide festival with food and games.

Learn to study the scriptures with both your mind and your heart. In this class, you will learn how to articulate the purpose of the Bible, the proper exegesis of a passage, the different writing styles in the scriptures, and a study method involving comprehension, interpretation, application, and prayer. If you have taken the How to Read the Bible Class, we invite you to join us for this informative class.
Childcare is provided through our regular Kids Life classes, birth-5th grade.

Pick up a bottle at your campus and collect pocket change, or set it on your desk and work so others can contribute, too.

Parenting With Purpose

Listening Session

May 3 | 6-8 PM | SALEM CAMPUS GYM

Parents from all campuses are invited to dinner and conversation as part of the Parenting with Purpose Listening Session, provided by the Faith@Home Ministry.

Join a guided conversation where you can share your experiences, be heard, and connect with other parents walking through the same season. This event provides an opportunity to build relationships with other parents and be encouraged, while learning how to become a parent who purposefully disciples your child as the church comes alongside you.

This event is for parents of children from birth-12th grade.

Childcare will be available for birth-5th grade, after dinner. Students in grades 6-12 are invited to attend Epic (in the Annex), where dinner will be served. There will be no cost for students in grades 6-12.

COST: $5 per person, Children Age 3 & Under FREE;  $20 family max

BUILDING A BETTER MARRIAGE: A MARRIAGE WORKSHOP

Whether you're engaged, newly married, or years into your journey, this workshop will help you build a stronger, Christ-centered marriage through biblical teaching, real conversations, and supportive community.
Build a Strong Foundation – Learn how to develop a Christ-centered, gospel-shaped marriage that can thrive through every season of life. Talk About What Matters – Dive into meaningful conversations about communication, finances, sex, family dynamics, and spiritual growth. Engage with Real Issues – Address red flags, personal stories, and expectations in a safe, guided environment. Be Equipped for a Lifetime – Leave with practical tools, wisdom, and a community to support your journey together.
The class will be led by Pastor Ken & Beth Nienke, Andrew & Samantha McPheron, and a team of experienced table hosts who are eager to walk alongside you and share from their own journeys to help you build a lasting and life-giving marriage.
Cost is $10.00 a couple. Childcare and a light breakfast are provided with advanced registration.
