Capital Campaign RS.JPG

Dear Church Family,

My utmost desire is for everyone in the Roanoke Valley and beyond to know not just what we are for but to whom we belong. We belong to Jesus. That’s why we believe in Jesus Every Day, Everyone, and Everywhere. This life is so much better with Jesus, and we want our time, energies, resources, and finances to expand His Kingdom in the Roanoke Valley and beyond.

Fellowship is a group of people with humble beginnings, yet we have seen God do great things. We have had to be a people of faith throughout our history, and now God is calling us to have Daring Faith!  1 Peter 1:8 states, “Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory.”

It took faith to build our Salem Campus, and it took faith to begin our North and Southwest Campuses.  It required faith to walk through a pastoral transition, and now God is calling us to continue to love Him in faith and pursue His will for our faith family.

Over the years, we have always wanted to address the most significant space and facility needs at the time. We want to be good stewards of our resources and plan for the future. The time has come for moving forward with a building for our Southwest Campus and renovate the property we have purchased at Alpine Road for our North Campus! Several factors have helped our leadership decide this is the time to step out in faith.

Stewardship: As we look to the next decade, projected costs for rented facilities would be more than $1,000,000. Permanent space is a wise move.

Channeled energies: For our Southwest Campus, volunteers invest a significant portion of time each week in set-up and take-down. We want to see a more significant amount of time dedicated to ministering to people.

The countdown is on-4-3-2-1! This capital campaign helps us become more effective in reaching and impacting the Roanoke Valley for Jesus. We are taking a step of faith to trust God for the future. Let the adventure unfold!

I look forward to seeing what God does in and through you in the weeks to come.
